I'm searching for my birth parents. I was born in Dallas Texas, July 2, 1948 at the Pinkston's Clinic. My birth mother as I was told was a very young girl, who took me home and return me to the Clinic approximately two months after my birth. I was adopted through Hope Cottage, Dallas, Texas. It is quite possible that my birthfather was my adoptive-mother's cousin. His mother was my a-mother's aunt with whom she was very close. My mother's aunt died 3 months after I was born from the complications of pneumonia. . My a-mom states that that when she received me I was very sick with a cold. Her son left Dallas for St. Louis in the early 50's. All my mother's immediate family are deceased and when they were alive never discussed the circumstances of my birth. No Howard family members in my generation seems to know anything about the adoption or this cousin. If anyone is familiar with the Howard family of Lewisville and Dallas, Texas and are aware of the circumstances surrounding my birth please contact me. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
