Looking for Ethel A. Preston, I think she is my birth mother. Birth name is Joy Marie Preston, Born Norfolk, VA April 7, 1954. Story I have about my birth mother is that she was born in Washington, joined the WACS. She has a younger brother and younger sister. Her parents were divorced. She cared for me the first 6 weeks after delivery, hoped to marry "dad" but this was not in his plans. He is of Irish and Indian (assume native american?) descent, and an experience mechanic. I am fair skinned (got the freckles) strawberry blonde amongst the gray that's now creeping in. Part between two front teeth, my daughter had it too, both since fixed. Membrane on the outer corner of my left eye. Don't know if "Preston" is "mom" or "dad", but I don't think the US military was supposed to send that onion skin carbon copy to me years ago. Lived in Bayside VA , which changed to Virginia Beach at some point, until I was 13, as Cindy Lou Peirson. Anyway, really curious if I'm going to die of some genetic disease, like, should I have my ovaries removed? Or is longevity in the family? Tons of other questions to be sure.
