I am searching for family member, surname believed to be Higginbottom. Born in UK and believed murdered in Kimberleys, South Africa c1900-1908. The story exists within my family of this member being a mine inspector at diamond mine and being murdered by accident by two chineese. When they discovered their mistake the gave themselves up and were duly hung. I have located documents in South Africa that might relate to this matter but acquiring them has been difficult. My father is 93 & I would love to be able to confirm this story for him as well as locate any family members left in UK.
