I am looking for my brother/sister born in Rochester. The baby was born in late fall/winter 1968. My mother was Pauline Mildred Hussey Wilson. While in Rochester she lived with a family who took in young single women during their pregnancy. They provided the girls with a place to stay and the girls provided housekeeping/nanny service to the family. I believe the family got the women thru their church so there may be a religious organization adoption. I think the baby may have been a surrender to City of Auburn, NY Department of Social Services (now Cayuga County Social Services) in December, 1968 and could have been placed for adoption out of the Auburn area and not Rochester/Monroe County, NY. The father is Carl Edwin Davis. I am not sure if he was named as the father on any paperwork. | |||||||||||||||||||||
