 Mary Ann Macon was born in 1826 Upson County Georgia to Pleasant Macon & Nancy Gray....She married David J Johnson b abt 1812, Halifax, North Carolina on Feb 6,1842, Macon Alabama.....at some point the Johnsons moved from Alabama, they went to Texas. I find MARY ANN JOHNSON, IN THE UNITED STATES CENSUS OF 1880 IN Mc Culloch Co Texas, listed as May Johnson, age 54, she is a widow and living with her children....family stories indicate that she lived much longer than 54, but after 1880, I am unable to locate her anywhere. I would like to find out when she died and where she is buried....her children were GEORGEF JOHNSON, WILLIS JOHNSON, NATAHNIEL B JOHNSON, ANDERSON JOHNSON, WILLIAM THOMAS JOHNSON, ELLEN GRAY JOHNSON, WHO MARRIED WILLIAM F WEIR IN 1881 Mc cULLOCH CO TEXAS, LOU ABBLER JOHNSON WHO MARRIED THAOMS JEFFERSON POWELL, JAMES WESLEY JOHNSON WHO MARRIED ANNIE DEE HOUGHTON, CHARLES B JOHNSON AND NANCY JOHNSON WHO MARRIED CHARLEY WILSON................I AM FINDING CONFLICTING INFORMATION , WHILE SOME RESEARCHERS SAY SHE DIED IN TEXAS BUT DONT GIVE A DATE....FOUND ON ANCESTRY SAYING SHE DIED IN ALABAMA, BUT AGAIN NO PROOF, ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED
