I'm looking for information on Daniel and Charles Beals who is listed on the 1900 census for Clinton County Michigan. Daniel is listed as head of household, his son Charles William and mother in law Mary A. Welch all lived together. Daniel was born in 1835, his son, b-1876, and his mother in law, b-1820. They lived in Maple Rapids. His wife was Mary Beals (Welch?) I believe Charles William Beals was living at one time with people by the name of Voss, possibly Lena Voss. In the 1910 census Charles William is listed as an inmate in Montcalm county jail. Charles William Beals died in Lansing, Michigan on Oct. 23, 1916 and was married to Mertie Waldron at the time.
