Hi, I am beginning to finally crack a tough shell...but am still searching I have found my gggrandmother in the 1860 census in the home of her grandmother in Henry County Kentucky (Catherine Beckly Thurman)(she was born in 1810 and married to E.W. Thurman, although I don't know when he passed) along with two of her sisters....I also found that her parents were: Joseph wood (s)(born 1827) of Shelbyville, and the he married Sarah Frances Thurman (born 1831) they married in Shelby county in 9-24-1849... Now of course it appears that something happened to Joseph and Sarah from 1857-1860..their last child (Joann) was born in 1857...and then of course the girls were found in there grandmother's home... so, I guess I have a couple of thing...Who were Joseph parents...and what may have happened to Joseph's and Sarah's | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
