Legend says my g.g.grandfather, Thadeus Holt, was a physician in Elba, Coffee co. Alabama in the early 1860's. I think he married an Eaves but not sure. The Register family is also mentioned. My g.grandmother was born in Elba inAlabama Dec 23, 1868. Sometime later the family moved to TX. Her mother died of consumation and Thad. Holt disappeared on a trip to a medical convention. My g.grandmother was raised by an aunt and uncle, possibly Mathew Dan. Register. His wife was a sister to my g.g.grandmother. Anyone knowing anything of the Holts, Eaves, Registers please contact me.
