I am searching for information about Lafayette (b 1-19-1856; d 5-3-1880) & Hannah White McVay (b 3-17-1858; d 3-5-1881) and their children, William H. (b 1879) and Daniel (b 1878). I am especially interested in what tragedy or plague may be responsible for the deaths of Lafayette, Hannah, and other family members. After the death of the parents, the two boys were taken in, I believe, by Hannah's sister Mary Ellen White Salmons and brought to the Northwest. I would appreciate any insight you may have to the details of this story. William H. McVay was my grandfather. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
