I an aviation researcher with the Colorado Aviation Historical Society investigating a WW II bomber crash, July 1, 1944 near Sterling Colorado in which a 2nd Lt. Daniel J Jackson, 25, was killed. The local historical society is planning a permanent exhibit honoring those young men. They were part of that Greatest Generation. Believe his parents were Daniel S and Faymetta Camron. His wife was Bernise. Reports say he was from Pingree, Idaho. We are looking for any surviving relative so we can tell them what is planned. If you can help us in any way we would appreciate it. Might you have in your archives any article or obituary do you know if he is buried locally. See http://coloradowreckchasing.tripod.com/SterlingB24/SterlingB24.htm and http://www.coloradoaviationarchaeology.org/Expeditions_view.aspx?expeditionid=2 Thank You Duke Sumonia PO Box 114 Glen Haven, Co. 970-586-8505 | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
