Update: My birthparents' names are Lorie Ann Hardman (at one point she married a Raquedan and now it seems she's a Yosek, though I still haven't found her), and Bill Lee Arneson (I think I may have found him but need to write to him still). I have two half-brothers, Mike (Hardman, I think, about 27 yo) and Matt (Raquedan, I think, about 18-21 yo). Lorie's parents are E(a)rnest and Mildred Ann ("Jill") Hardman (Mildred was a Ryan). They died in a plane crash when Lorie was 6. The plane crash was in May 1968. I haven't found obituaries. Lorie has sisters, Kathy (oldest), Shari (younger), and Tina (younger). I have communicated with Kathy and she helped a little but has stopped communicating, it seems. I have other info, but don't want to list it all. My website is still functional and I plan to update soon. Thanks. I am looking for any information on my biological family. I was born 12-04-82 at St. Benedict's in Jerome, Idaho. I am female. My birthmother was a nursing student at either College of Southern Idaho or ISU. She had a son about 2 y.o. already, and apparently she couldn't afford to keep me. My adoption was closed/private and the judge was Hon. Charles Brumbach, attorneys John Doer, Kevin Trainer, and Dannis (Dan) Adamson. I do not necessarily want to meet family unless they are okay with it...maybe we could write, though, at least at first. I am really after personal information: my ethnic/cultural background, family names/tree, family history, medical history, et cetera. I would also like to know if I look like anyone. My birthmother was a student in her early-to-mid 20's at college in Jerome area (?)... My maternal biological grandparents died in car crash before I was born. I have half-brother one or two years older than me who most likely was kept by our birthmother. My birthfather dissapeared and would not relinquish (or admit to) paternity. I have dreamed about my birthfamily a lot...I don't know how accurate the dreams are, but they did tell me about my brother before I knew he was real. My dreams included some names, which may not be exact or at all accurate, but a family name (which sounded French) was something like Delacroix or Delacre, and I dreamed that my grandparents wanted to adopt me and name me Olivia or Lily or Livy, and that my grandfather liked cars and trucks and was part Native American, and my grandmother was named something like Lillian or Vivian and looked a lot like me when I was little. Oh, by the way, I have dark brown hair, light olive skin with freckles, hazel green eyes, and lots of health problems (like allergies and hypoglycemia).
