I am researching a friends family line of RICHARDS.. I have traced his SCHAUS line back on his dad's maternal side to a Henry RICHARDS, born in NY abt 1845. Now I found Henry RICHARDS on the 1880 census in Brooklyn, Kings County, NY... Henry is listed as 25 yr old baker (occupation) and his wife is EMMA, age 23...There are two sons to this household, Willie,age 2 and Walter (my friends line) age 8 months.... Now I did find a possible maiden surname for EMMA and that is 'WILLETS'.. Please note this is not a definite finding...I am trying now to locate the parental lines of Henry RICHARDS and his wife EMMA.... I have found several Henry RICHARDS in the NY census before 1880, but I can not be sure which one is this same Henry RICHARDS I found in Brooklyn, Kings, NY in 1880..
