SPROGIS, CARL and JANIS are two brothers who came to the Sacramento area of California in the dawning of the 20th century. Their mother's name was MEDNIS. Carl was born 27 May 1879, married (in the US?)Emma Katz who was born around 1884 in Latvia and had 6 children, then after she passed away in 1921, he later married Alice Turb and had two more children. Janis, called John usually, was born 18 December 1875 and married Veronika, who was born 31 October 1901. We are looking for descendants of these lines. The LATVIAN home town was Riga.
