Searching for information on Sills John GIBBONS & Ann CROOKES. They were married at St Giles / Bloomsbury, Middlesex, England in March 1845. Their daughter Anne "Hannah" Mary Gibbons was born 24 June 1847 and christened at St Andrews by the Wardrobe, London. There was a mayor of London around the time named Sills John Gibbons. I don't know whether or not they're one and the same. Aged 20, their daughter "Hannah" married in Oamaru, Otago, New Zealand to Samuel LINTERN (mis-spelt LINTHORN in the Otago newspaper). I can find no record of her parents in this country so maybe she came out by herself. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
