Looking for information on family of Moses D. Harper born 1821 in North Carolina and wife Ruth Box Harper born 1821 in Alabama. They are shown in 1850 Census to be in Union Twnshp, Fulton Co.,Ar.with 4 children, Mary Ann age 7, John M age 5, Isaac? W age 3, and Robert J. age 1. Moses died sometime before July 1 1857, and Ruth purchased land in Pike Co,AR In the 1860 Census she is married to Hezekiah Askew in Hempstead Co,AR., however none of the Harper children are listed in the household. Ruth was the daughter of Robert Box. Who are Moses Harper's parents? John M married Marsel(also listed Marcella or Meddy Mosley) Hampton in Hempstead Co,AR in 1866. There was a Family Bible stating that John M. was John Marlin and he and Marsel had a son named John Moses Harper, along with other children, Noble Alexander, Luther, Walter and daughters Millie and Pearl.
