I am searching for my birth father and/or maternal or paternal siblings. I am a white female born on Jan. 17, 1978 at Floyd County Hospital in GA.I was adopted by Jerry and Elaine Plunkett. My biological mother's name is or was Kathy Padgett. I'm not sure if Padgett is her married or her maiden name. I believe that she is from Jasper, Ga. I know that she attended North Georgia College and then later transferred to the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. She also had a roommate in college named Carol Bowden Witzman or possibly Wilzman. I understand that my birth mother and birth father are no longer together. The adoption was private and the name of the attorney that took care of the proceedings is Harold N. Wollstein.
