Seeking info on parents and descendants of Matthew BARCLAY (b IR c. 1836-38, d. NYC 1880) and wife Bridget KANE/CAINE (b. IR c. 1836-38), who immigrated to U.S. in mid 1860's. Bridget lived in Manhattan until 1919, when she died. Children: Maggie b. Dublin, IR 1860, d. 1892 in childbirth, m. Wm. Chas Knobloch, 5 children; Mamie, Louis, Catherine b. NY c. 1868-69 m. Patrick J. Gleason, lived Rockaway Beach, Queens, 4 children; Nellie (never married, d. aft. 1920),Michael (b. NY c. 1872, d. aft. 1920, sons Joseph and Matthew), Charlie (1877-1900), James. I have more info on Maggie and Katherine's descendants and pictures of Maggie, and will be happy to share.
