James Goode's and Cornelia Hopper's daughter, Martha Jefferson (Goode)married James Alexander Cocke in 1885, in Tate Co, MS...Cornelia (Hopper)Goode was buried in Tate Co, MS in the late 1800s...James Clark Goode was missing on the 1880 census, showing his wife, Cornelia living in the household of her son, James R. Goode, also, her daughter M.J. Ballard...(this is my grandmother) Martha Jefferson (Goode), who married James Alexander Cocke (my grandfather)in Tate Co, MS in 1885...
