I am searching for one Thomas Gallagher. I have record of he & his family living in Kansas in 1870. I would appreciate any help directly or indirectly with my research. I am told that he & his wife, Frances Ellen Dunagan, immigrated to the US in the mid-1800's. I have record of them living in Atchison Kansas in 1865 w/ their 4 daughters; Octavia, Fannie, Charlotte & Hygenia. Records indicate Thomas & Ellen were born in Ireland, and they appear on the 1870 census. I have little else to go on so any aid would be greatly appreciated!
