Chiveral's immigrated to St. Mary's in 1673, they were John & Jeane, they were from England and they had a plantation in St. Mary's. The Will Of John Chiveral: Cheverell, John,St. Mary's Co.,5th Apr., 1702; 4th June, 1702. To wife Jeane, extx., entire estate, including a lease of dwelling plantation. To sons John and Clement, sd. lease at death of wife, and to sd. sons, dau. Jeane and to 2 grandchild. (unnamed), personalty. Test: Kenelm Cheseldyns, Jas. Robertson, Jos Walker, Rich'd Forest. 11. 211. 7/20/1717: Ter. Sweeney was one of the appraisers of the estate of John Chiveral, SMC. Patrick Forrest was married to Elinor Chiveral.
