I am trying to trace the birthplace and close family of my great grandfather Rudolph Emil Jaeger who was born in London in 1880. His father - Rudolph Jaeger was born in Germany around 1849. And his father - Peter Jaeger, a piano maker - was born in Germany around 1830. On 29th May 1901 Rudolph Emil Jaeger married my great grandmother Emmie Maud Cozens at Lambeth Register Office, London. Emmie was the daughter of Kate (Dodd) Cozens from Bridgwater, Somerset. Kate's parents were Alfred Cozens and Emma Dodd from Burnham, Somerset. Alfred's father was Samuel Cozens from Bickenhall, Somerset. Emma's father was Robert Dodd. Rudolph Emil Jaeger and Emmie Cozens became a comedy duo, music-hall act known as Helm and Cozens. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
