I am looking for information on Samuel BROOKS who was born in MA about 1803. He married Mary QUEER b 1831 about 1850 probably in Somerset County, PA. They lived in PA, WV and MD and had at least five children: Jacob, Elizabeth, Charles Edward, William and Ellen. Samuel probably died in MD about 1869. Mary's parents were probably Michael and Elizabeth QUEER. After Samuel's death Mary married Harmon SKILES of Pittsburg and moved to NE and then to Rice county, KS where she died in 1919. Her daughter, Elizabeth MENDENHALL, was my paternal grandmother. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
