Looking for information and family. My grandmother was Lily Davis-b.1890,where? d.feb.1964 Leavenworth,Kansas.m.George Ester Mizer/MiserJr.where?They had two daughters:Mary Winifred (b.approx.1909-died as a young woman,date and place unknown).Her married name was Wood or Woods.Pauline(b.approx.1910 d.1996in Texas).She married William Sanger,and lived in Leavenworth until after he died.Lily and George were divorced sometime before my mother was born though Mizer is on her birth certificate.Her given name was Marthe Elaine(Owens)(b.July 18,1920-Missouri.d.feb.16,2004-Kingsburg,California).All three girls spent time at St.Vincent's Home in Leavenworth.Lily later married a Mr. Henry.(first name unkown,reported to have been crippled,and owned a "beer Joint").They had a son named Joseph Allen(b.1923,d.1982in Md.)Lily's mother died when Lily was approx.5yrs.She had a sister(Margaret)who was some years older(maybe10 plus years).Their father went to "an old solders home".Leavenworth? Or maybe Missouri??I believe the parents given names were John and Margaret,though I might be wrong.Boaz/Boas was also a family name.Other names mentioned in the family were Pruitt,West,Pansy.Any other information about this family would be much appreciated.Thanks,Regina-saasbak@yahoo.com | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
