Seeking info on Frederick Gast before 1860. This Frederick Gast was in 1860 Lenox Township, Macomb County, Michigan US Census. Listed there as Fred (age 42),wife Mary, children Doras, Joseph, Fred & Mary. He was born in 1817 or 1818, supposedly in Mecklenburg province of Germany. Would like to know parents, siblings, year he came to America, and town in Mecklenburg. Thanks.
