He was the 1st doctor in Frankfort, Clinton County, Indiana, and may have gone to school or lived in Ohio before arriving in the Clinton County area in 1828-29. He married Louisa C. CANBY/CAMBE 8-31-1831 in Clinton Co. Had 5 children. Louisa died abt. 1854 and Dr. WILDS married a Mary Jane. Dr. WILDS died 5-12-1883 and is buried in Old South Cemetery in Clinton Co. IN. Known children as follows: George M. b. 1833 (1st white child born in Clinton Co. Sarah Ann b. 1838 married James M. Davis of Boone Co. William W. b. 1840 married Mary B.
