Trying to find any info on my G Grandfather William Scott born c.1851 -he married Catherine Gaffney born c.1855 (daughter of Sarah Gaffney born c.1826 maiden name unknown). William was a farmer in Dromahair, Leitrim. He had 6 children, incl Joseph (who emigrated to America)& my grandfather Andrew. Andrew married Kate McGoldrick, daughter of Pat McGoldrick (wife Kate Byrne), who was son of Roger & Ellen McGoldrick (born c.1814). Ellen lived at Stonepark Dromahair (but born Co Sligo). Also a cousin Michael Gallagher lived there in 1901. Pat's sister Eliza married Dan Kelly. Any new info on any of my ascendants above would be gratefully received. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
