Looking to connect with anyone who is descended from the MARSHALL and RUSSEL families from Stafford County, VA. The Russels also spent time in King George and Spotsylvania County as well. We are descended from a James MARSHALL (b 1851 VA) and an Elizabeth RUSSEL (b 1857 VA). Her parents were Robert H. RUSSEL and Molessie. Robert was also a Civil War veteran. It is unknown who James Marshall's parents were. Their children were: Loulie May, Ida, Charles, James, Maude, Ella, and Bessie Lee. Some of the family moved on to Baltimore City.
