Researching NATHANIEL LONG and wife LUCRETIA. County marriage record (with no age, location or race) says Nat Long married Lucretia Carter Dec. 25, 1873, but I've also been told different maiden names of Evans and Brown. Want to find her family. Also want to research Nat's parents, father(?) William Long, mother Harriet Long. Three of the Longs' children married into the Enoch family, Bedford and Tener Enoch. Want to find all members of Bedford's family. Have no info on Tener, not even maiden name. Family has a portrait of her in Indian garb but supposedly all were African-American. Seeking Long and Enoch slave owners in Caswell, and the last slave owner before Emancipation for Bedford, Tener, Nat, and Lucretia. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
