Looking for any information on my grandfather William Moore, birthplace listed on my father's birth certificate is Rome, GA and he is 26 years old in Sept. 1933. It shows his occupation as a salesman for a advertising company in Minneapolis, MN. This makes his year of birth 1906. I can't find William in any records. DNA recently done shows our paternal family coming from Northern Europe (Scottish). Grandmother (Velma Johnston) said he died of cirrhosis of the liver. My dad's birth certificate shows the father as William Dean Moore, but my Aunt says his name is William Vere Moore. I don't know if there are any delayed birth certificates for Floyd county, GA?
