Looking for info on Sarah D. Cox was born June 04, 1839 in Lincolnshire, England. She was still living in Wisconsin in 1934; it has been mentioned by family that she was alive at age 94 or 95. She married Edward N. Palmer in 1856 in Wisconsin; Edward was born in 1834 in Erie County, Pennsylvania, and he was a teacher, an artist, and a photographer. In 1856 he moved to Tomah, Monroe County, Wisconsin. In the 1860 Monroe County, Wisconsin State Census he was a teacher in Ridgeville; in the 1870 Census he was a photographer and Sarah’s brother John M. Cox was living with them as a dry goods clerk in Tomah Village. They had one son: 1) Orson Palmer was born after 1856 and died before 1934.
