I am looking for information about my cousin, Read R. POWER. If you think you knew him, knew of him, or saw him between 1995 and 2000, or if he was one of your neighbors – please contact me by email. We lost touch in 1995 (about the time my maternal grandfather, Frank B. Scott died) I subsequently moved out of state and neither of us had a computer at the time. From an internet search I found the date of his death, June 23, 2000 at the age of 55. If you know the circumstances of his death, or where he is buried, or have any information, it would be greatly appreciated. His Date of Birth was July, 30th, 1945. As far as I know, he was born in Baltimore City or County (Maryland). He was adopted, while an infant, by Read and Mary Gertrude (Brown) Power. (Gertrude was my Great Aunt, my maternal grandmother’s sister.) When I last saw Read POWER in 1995, he was of slim to average build and weight, of average to slightly short height. As an adult, he had dark hair (maybe a bit graying or slightly balding), dark eyes, medium to dark olive or ruddy completion (but is Caucasian), with a deep summer tan he might look Indian (either Native American or from India). He was last known living / working in and around these MARYLAND areas: Howard County, also previously lived in Catonsville, Baltimore County, and near Westminster, Cranberry or Manchester area of Western Maryland (Carroll County). I believe he lived for a time on a Dennis ? Street or Ave. near Elkridge ? but I'm not sure. He had a relative in Hagerstown, MD, so might have been in or near that area. Both of his parents are buried in Meadowridge Memorial Park in Elkridge, Howard County, Maryland (7250 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, MD 21075) so he might have been seen visiting there. I believe his two children from his second marriage, may be living in Ohio somewhere – so he may have visited or moved there for a time. He also used to play the acoustic guitar, but could not read music. He was possibly working for a power or an electric company or a cable company. (I think he was working for Baltimore Gas & Electric Co. when we last saw each other.)
