In search of ancestors to William H. Bonds born about 1818 in Kentucky or Tennessee. Immigrated to Carthage, Panola Cnty, Texas before 1843. Married Dorcas (aka Darcas) Davis 1845 in TX. More details can be found of them in 1850-1880 US Census. W.H. Bonds was believed to have joined the 19th Louisiana Regiment in November, 1861 and perished in the Civil War after February, 1863. Details on his ancestors or hisdeath will be greatly appreciated.
