Mother's birthdate May 15, 1966. Mother's age at time of adoption 18. Town of residence, Westfield, then Carmel, In. Adoptive parents: One was a veterinarian, has tried unsuccessfully for 9 years to concieve, were friends of/recommended by biological mother's doctor, Mark Richards. Adoptive parents & lawyer refused to divulge their names for fear I would recant the adoption, so I cannot provide adoptive parents' names. Mother was on welfare with a small child, having a very difficult time financially, struggling to provide for one child. I did not feel it would benefit anyone for the 2nd child to be impoverished, and poor as well. I wanted her to have the best life possible. The first child was born of wedlock.
