I am researching my father's family and need help. I know only the following information: Wilfred Amnotte (July 1878/79 in Canada possibly Sherbrooke area and died ~1942/45 in or around Lynn, MA) married to Mary Frances Quarry (born ~ 1870 died ~ 1940/45 in or around Lynn, MA) Children: Delphis Joseph (3-28-07 to 2-22-1996), Wilfred Jr. "Bill"(1909 - 1917), John Quarry 1-19-1912 to 5-11-1992). I know that Wilfred was a shoe factory foreman and his parents might have been Pierre (Peter) and Helene (Helen). The other known fact: My father spelled his last name Amnott; his brother John spelled it Amnotte; Wilfred Sr. spelled it Amnotte but somewhere prior we have heard they spelled it Amyotte and the family originally came from France.
