Looking for further info on the ancestors of Della LaCroix. Her father was Louis (Ludger) Lacroix (Lacross), born in CD, died 16 Nov 1886 in Dannemora, Clinton, NY., buried in ST Joseph's Cemetery, Dannemora, no stone. No parents listed on the death record, or the marrige record. Della was adopted by Sullivan and Mary King and was raised by them in Dannemora. Louis married Helen (ellen) Hamlin on 28 Jun 1883 at St Joseph's in Dannemora, Clinton, NY, she was the daughter of Charles and Margaret Gebo. It was the second marriage for her. She had four children with her first husband, Herrick Sousie, two with her second husband, Louis Lacroix, and at least one with her third husband, Antoine Robare. Della's full sister was Delvia Mary Lacross, born 31 Mar 1887 in Dannemora, died 14 Jul 1959 in Ausable Forks, NY, married Elzear Dinelle in 1902.
