Does anyone have information regarding the land or landgrant land acquired by either Dallas Nichols and/or his wife Austa Obenchain Nichols OR acquired by Dallas's father John L. Nichols all formerly having resided in Jasper County, IN in 1895? My grandfather, Dallas, died in Brule County in 1908; afterwhich, the his father, his daughter-in-law Austa and her 3 young children returned to Jasper County, Indiana about 1908 or 09.
