I am searching for my Great Grandfather John Frederick Meier. He was born in Russia on 7 Aug 1889 and was orphaned at the age of 7. He lived with a Conrad EHRLICH in Russia and then came to live with a cousin, FRED MEIER in 1910 in ELLIS COUNTY OKLAHOMA. I have the 1910 US Census where it lists JOHN FREDERICK MEIER as a cousin living with FRED MEIER in 1910. In 1913, he married KATHERINE ELIZABETH KELLN and moved to Lipscomb County, Texas. He died on 20 Mar 1939 in Lipscomb County, Texas. I have no information on my MEIER branch at all except the names of JOHN FREDERICK's parents and they are: JOHN FREDERICK MEIER AND EVA MARGARET (? I don't know her maiden name). If anyone has ANY information about the MEIERs please, please contact me. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
