I'm looking for Uriah (T?) Hartley who was born about 1805 in either Monongalia Co. VA (WVA, Rockingham Co. VA., or Ohio. He lived in Spencer Co. Indiana by the 1820 census. He married Delilah Ann Brown in Rockport, Spencer Co., Indiana August 28, 1825. She was born in Rockingham Co. VA. Uriah and Delilah moved from Rockport to Boonville, Warrick Co., Indiana in 1832. In 1836, they moved to Yankeetown, also in Warrick Co. He is listed as a blacksmith and farmer in 1820/1830 US Census. They had 7 children between 1826 and 1839: Elizabeth I(born 1826) who married John W Baker; Daniel Paul (born 1828) who married Amanda Engeline Taylor; Martha Jane (born 1830) who married Orrin P Caswell; Robert M (born 1832) who married Johanna Baldwin Day; Catherine E (born 1836) who married John L Bonner; Henry Conrad (also born 1836, no indication that these two were twins) who married Abigail Horton; and Margaret M (born 1839) who married Joshua F Wheeler. Uriah died in 1839. Delilah remarried after his death. Although I don't have his parents, I have come across two of Uriah's possible brothers: John who was born in 1808, died in Spencer Co. sometime after 1861. He was married three times: to Seaney C. Mills in Rockport, 1829; to Avey Wright in Rockport, 1833; and to Matilda Gentry in Spencer Co., 1861. He was in Washington Co. Indiana in 1820 census, in Spencer Co. in 1850 census as a blacksmith. and, William Henry who was born in Clark Co. Indiana in 1819. William married Ann Maria Wright sometime before 1858. He served as a Private in Mexican War with the 3rd regiment of company C from Clark Co. from 1846-1847. He is listed as living in Yankeetown by 1860 as a farmer. I hope I've given you enough information to help me find poor Uriah's parents.
