Query Text:

Trying to find out if Patrick EWING truly fought in the Revolutionary War. I find statements that he did but with no sources. A source is required to truly know one way or the other. This Patrick EWING is believed to be the one who was married to sisters, Elizabeth and Jane PORTER. I have seen him listed as a Captain. Any help would be appreciative.
