Hello, I would appreciate it if anybody with access to the 1900 Mercer County, WV census could look to see if there is a Jones family livng there in which the wife/mother was born in 1862. I have been trying to locate information about my maternal G-grandmother, Sarah Sue Jones (nee Brown), but have run into a dead end. She was born in Mercer County in 1862, and died there in 1944, being buried in the Bethel Cemetery. According to her death certificate, which I was able to locate online, she was widowed from a Gordon Jones, who must have died before 1917. This could have been his middle-name, however, because I have been unable to find any individual with this name in the online 1880 census. Thank you, Larry | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
