I'm looking for information on my wife's Irish ancestry: Peter Galligan (listed as blacksmith of Crosserlaugh, Co. Cavan, Ireland in a family record, d. Jul 1886 in Taunton, Mass., USA), his wife was Mary Gaffney (d. 24 Dec 1894, Taunton), their daughter was Judith or Julia Galligan, b. Oct 1839 in Rockfield, County Cavan, Ireland, married Philip Coyle 14 Jul 1857 in Parish of Crosserlough, County Cavan, Ireland, d. 14 Feb 1913, Taunton). Philip Coyle was b. either 1833 or 1840 in Civil Parish of Ballymachugh, County Cavan, Ireland, d. Mar 1903 in Taunton, left Ireland April 28th, 1865, then left Liverpool May 3rd, 1865, in steamer 'City of Boston'. Arrived in New York May 15th and in Taunton May 17, 1865. His wife and first four children left Ireland April 17th and Liverpool 22nd 1867 in steamer 'Delaware' arrived in Boston May 8th and Taunton May 8, 1867. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
