Alford/Wagoner: James Alford (1799-1876) and Margaret Carlisle (1780-bef. 1867); and Charles Louis Alford (1840-1900) and Caroline America Pearson (1851-1917): I'd appreciate any information on these Alfords who started in VA and settled in MO. Also, the descendants of Peter Waggoner (1762-1829 and Martha Hardy (1771-1855), Edmond M Wagoner (1794-1876) and Charlotte Wilson (1796-1880), William George Wagoner (1828-1914) and Elizabeth Cole (1828-1879), and Hartwell Birge Wagoner (1859-1944) and Elizabeth Jane Sumner (1865-1949). The Alfords and Wagoners came together when Charles Louis Alford's son, Roy Wilbur, married Hartwell Birge Wagoner's daughter, Lola May.
