I am trying to trace the Arkansas Harvison family as far back as possible, but so far, I'm getting hung up beyond my great-great-greatgrandfather, Rufus Monroe Harvison. He had a son of the same name, who then had a son by the name of Dan Monroe Harvison, who was my great grandfather. Dan's son JC (James Carroll Harvison) was my grandfather, and he married Mildred Inez Hall of Lepanto, AR. They had three daughters, Donna Maria, Cody Dawn, and April LeAnn, though April did not live past birth. I am Cody's oldest daughter. Actually, I can't seem to locate any information in the census records for JC at all, though I can find all of his siblings. My grandmother is now quite old and it's hard to get any accurate information from her, so it's almost like starting from scratch. I know that Dan Monroe Harvison and his wife Ethel Boling lived in Marked Tree, Arkansas. Ethel was somehow related to the Ed Carter family from the Independence county area, and I know her sister Norah married Ed Carter, but I think they were somehow related prior to that. I would love to get in touch with any of the other Harvison descendents who have information they could supply me with, and maybe I have some for them as well. :) Thanks! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
