I am trying to source my ancestors Mary Gaffney And Charles Gaffney from Longford. All I know is they died in the years following the potato famine of fever. They had 2 daughters one Elizabeth and my Grandmother Mary. She was born about 1874 in Longford. Her sister Elizabeth was in service in Dublin and when her parents died Mary was 10 years old, she then took Mary to Dublin and she was put in service at Blackrock Dublin. Her employers moved to the Isle of Man were she met my Grandfather and they married and had seven children. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
