RAFFO Family New York City, WWII. I am looking for someone who knows a Mr and Mr Raffo who emmigrated to New York City, to survive World War II. His first name may have been Charles (Carlos?). He may have been a chef at a Brooklyn Hotel. I was told the Raffos returned to Italy after the War - about 1945. Mr and Mrs Raffo did agreat kindness for my mother and myself. They took care of us when I was an infant. Does anybody know of Raffo family members who traveled to the USA during this time ? I'd like to learn who these kind people were.
