Am interested in locating family of the late DR.R.E. DELANEY died in oakland, california nov.29th.1931. was 1st.cousin to captain patrick delaney from Gloucester mass.An article was written by DR. Delaney on my grandfather in the 1931 MAPLE LEAF.Mr john Proper of Pasadena.who came from manasate lake guysboro co,N.S. was married to Mary l. doyle Proper from aricat.she had four sisters in nova scotia.He sailed on the ship that my grandfather owned in1898.The ship was the charles woodbery.Patricik Delaney became a captain of another schooner and was lost at sea in 1899 in the Bering sea in Alaska.I am looking for any information on him.I do not know his mother or fathers names.I am his grandaughter. thank you
