Jens Peter Christiansen and wife, Carrie, lived in Tostenase, Moen, Demark. Jens was born 29 Feb 1820, and his wife was born 20 Jan 1823. In America, they were known as Jens Peter Jensen and Carrie Jensen. Their children included Sophie; Rasmus Jensen, born 17 Aug 1852; J. Christian Jensen, born Feb 1859; Marie, born July 1862; and Christiana, born 21 April 1864. Rasmus emigrated to the U.S. in 1872; J. Christian in 1878; Marie emigrated in 1882; and Christiana in about 1883. The mother, Carrie, emigrated in 1882, so the father, Jens, probably emigrated the same year. I would appreciate any information that places this family together in Denmark. I also would like to hear form any descendants of this family. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
