James Par(r)ish born abt. 1840 in VA. parents from VA. In 1880 he was living in Champaign ILL w/ wife, Amanda Davis and 5 of their 6 or 7 children. (James),Amanda and her parents (Charles and Jemima Mott) moved to Kansas. Their son Fred, was my grandfather. Just recently found him in 1880 ILL cs listed as Janes Parish. Have been searching for him for years. Will share information.
