Searching for my birth mother. Her name is Marie-Paul Labonte and gave birth to twin boys on September 5, 1957 at the Catherine Booth Hospital in Montreal Quebec. On a hospital document it states the birth mother's name as Marie "A" and Marie "B". Apparently a Mme Gosselin helped Marie-Paul we believe during and after her pregnancy. Pastor Bruce R. Amy of Strathmore Baptist Church signed a birth certificate for the twins. An uncle (Ernie) and aunt (Betty) who were memberrs from the Strathmore Baptist Church helped in the proceeding of registering these twins to the church. Baby "A" weighed 5 lbs. 15 oz and 20inches in length. It also states in papers that this baby weighed 6 lbs and 3 oz. Baby "B" weighed 5lbs 6 oz and 17 1/2 inches long. It also states in papers 5 lbs. 9 oz . Mr. Milton Merry and Betty June (Moisley) Merry adopted the twins at birth. They are a couple who are deceased now but are from the city of St. Catharines and the province of Ontario and raised the twins in this city. I have a document from the Social Welfare Court for a Certificate of Judgment from the province of Quebec dated on the 31st day in May 1961 that we were adopted by this couple.
