I am looking for information on the backgrounds of George A. Hummer and his wife, Mary Fritts Hummer. They probably emigrated from Germany. They were in Brooklyn, NY in 1877 when my grandmother, Mary Hummer, was born. Later they were in Cripple Creek, Teller County, CO where George Hummer was involved in the mining industry in the early 1900's.
